The purpose of this unit is to develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures that are necessary for the execution of arms control compliance.

This function is aimed at satisfying Armscor’s responsibility to comply with applicable statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. This is achieved through incorporating and embedding compliance principles in all existing processes within Armscor and by monitoring and reporting on compliance risk. The Armscor Legal Services and BBBEE divisions form part of the Corporate Compliance Department.

The Quality division assures technical integrity through quality management processes during the acquisition phases of all programmes and projects. Quality is involved in all aspects from the User Requirement Statement stage right through to the Commissioning phase.
