The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) is a state-owned company. Armscor’s origins trace back to the Second World War however, the name and brand Armscor came to life in the nineteen seventies when the Armaments Board and Armaments Development Corporation amalgamated.
Throughout the years, Armscor moved from being a manufacturing company to an organisation focusing on acquisition management. Armscor’s core business extends to foreign trade facilitation, development of technologies, product development as well as product test and evaluation.
