Qualifications: Essential: • LLB Degree or Relevant Bachelor\'s Degree qualification in Law, Corporate Governance, Commercial Law, Regulatory Law, or related field. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP Added Advantage: • Registration with a relevant body is recommended. KNOWLEDGE & FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: • Basic to working knowledge of South African legal frameworks, including contract law, administrative law, and regulatory compliance. • Ability to interpret legislation, policies, and procedures into practical guidance under supervision. • Working knowledge of standard contract drafting using templates and approved legal instruments. • Ability to identify basic legal risks and escalate complex or high-risk matters appropriately. • Ability to conduct legal research on routine matters using statutes, case law, and internal policies. • Exposure to dispute resolution processes, including administrative and preparatory support to legal matters. • Ability to draft, review, and summarise standard legal documents and communicate basic legal concepts clearly.
