SOCIAL RELIEF FOR FLOODS VICTIMS

In the spirit of compassion and community service, Armscor partnered with the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Spouses Forum provide humanitarian relief to Defence Force (SANDF) Spouses Forum to provide humanitarian relief to flood- affected families on 20 February 2026 in Makhuva Village, outside Giyani.

Live scientific demonstrations encouraging learners to choose careers in defence.

As part of the activations, Armscor had two exhibition stands. One focusing on careers and other opportunities available to the youth, while the second one focussed on defence industry support.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL CAMPAIGN EMPOWERS LEARNERS

In support of education and youth development, Armscor partnered with Nzalo Careers to host a Back-to-School Campaign across parts of Limpopo Province from 3 – 5 March 2026.

Armscor welcomes African scientists f or a dvanced analytical chemistry programme

The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) is proud to host 21 scientists from 16 African countries at its Protechnik Laboratories from Monday, 8 to 19 June 2026 for the annual Analytical Chemistry Course conducted under the auspices of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

Launch of drone training programme to create unlimited opportunities

The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor), in partnership with Ntsu Aviation Academy, officially launched the Drone Pilot Training Programme today, 27 May 2026 as part of its Enterprise and Supplier Development initiative aimed at empowering emerging businesses and advancing socio-economic transformation.

Armscor champions inclusion of women and youth-led enterprises

The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) in partnership with the South African Aerospace, Maritime and Defence Industry Association (AMD) and Women in Defence South Africa (WIDSA) hosted a Supplier Information Day, today, 26 March 2026 at the ACSA International Indaba Conference Centre, Kempton Park.

Armscor signs MOU with DAPA

The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Defence Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) of the Republic of Korea. The five-year agreement, signed today, 17 November 2025, seeks to enhance cooperation in the defence industry and in defence research and development. This collaboration will focus on the production and exchange of defence materiel, knowledge and technologies, guided by the principle of reciprocity.
