The Alkantpan Test Range, a subsidiary of Armscor, is South Africa’s premier ballistic testing facility. Situated in the semi-desert terrain of Copperton, Prieska in the Northern Cape, the 85,000-hectare range provides an ideal environment for scientifically controlled testing. Its flat terrain, minimal vegetation, and consistent weather patterns ensure reliable and repeatable trials throughout the year.
With more than 30 years of proven experience, and as an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited facility, Alkantpan offers world-class testing and evaluation services for a wide variety of weapon systems.
