Armscor signs MOU with DAPA
The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Defence Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) of the Republic of Korea. The five-year agreement, signed today, 17 November 2025, seeks to enhance cooperation in the defence industry and in defence research and development. This collaboration will focus on the production and exchange of defence materiel, knowledge and technologies, guided by the principle of reciprocity.
Defence industry seminar to unlock opportunities
Following engagements at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) Japan in May 2025, the Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) led a delegation from the South African Defence Industry (SADI) to the inaugural Defence Industry Seminar recently held at the South African Residence in Tokyo.
Armscor handover helicopters to strengthen SAPS capacity
The Armaments Corporation of South Africa (Armscor) has officially handed over two H125 single-engine light utility helicopters to the South African Police Service (SAPS) on Friday, 3 October 2025. These additional assets will enhance SAPS’s aerial capabilities and strengthen national crime-prevention efforts.
