In November 2020, ARMSCOR signed a Framework Agreement with the Defence Equipment Sales Authority (DESA) of the UK Ministry of Defence. This agreement enabled the implementation of ARMSCOR’s International Disposal Solutions (IDS) initiative.

The cooperation between ARMSCOR and DESA creates the opportunity for DESA to increase its reach in Africa and the commercial sales sector. ARMSCOR has been active in the sale of surplus and redundant South African National Defence Force military related equipment internationally and has successfully sold equipment on most continents with a compliant and an unblemished track record.

DESA is proud to be promoting sales opportunities with ARMSCOR of combat proven UK products and equipment and a wide range of inventory and commodities as well as the sharing of knowledge and expertise. Interested parties may participate in the IDS collaboration opportunity are as follows:

It is important to note that due to the stringent compliance regulations associated with the marketing and sale of the equipment, any attempt to market or sell the products and equipment without ARMSCOR’s prior written consent will neither be entertained nor acknowledged.

All sales would be on a UK Government to ARMSCOR basis. ARMSCOR and DESA actively seeks engagement opportunities and champions prospects for both the British Industry and the South African Defence Industry,  which includes  those involved in the safety, security as well as “Dual Purpose & Commercial” businesses.
