Q1) For what periods are security clearances valid?

A1) Confidential = 10 years.

Secret = 5 years.

Top Secret = 5 years.

Q2. When I have to travel abroad in connection with Armscor projects, what are my security responsibilities?

A2) First of all, you must haveat least a valid CONFIDENTIAL security clearance. You must also apply upfront via Armscor Security to obtain access to the facility abroad as well as to classified information at the said facility. The applicable application form is available here.

Although the requirement varies from country to country, this form should (where possible) be completed it at least 6 weeks before the intended visit.
